My three journals- Home and Building

The New Zealand Home And Building ran from as early as 1937 to 1998 with the publish of over 500 issues. the journal covered a wide range of content from interior to exterior decorations, ways to doing such as well and the materials and equipment involved in the process.

Here is a example of one of the past issues,Vol. XVIII, No. 1. June, 1955.which was registered as a Newspaper at the G.P.O., Wellington.

"A magazine devoted to all who are interested in homes and gardens, architecture, decoration, furnishing and buildings. Edited and produced under the auspices of the New Zealand Institute of Architects."
Architectural Editors
H. D. S. McGowan, B.Arch., A.R.I.B.A., A.N.Z.I.A., A.N.Z.I.V.
Clifford Sanderson, B.Arch.(N.Z.), Dip.T.P.(Lond.), A.R.I.B.A., F.N.Z.I.A., A.M.T.P.I.(Lond.).

It also shows what sort of china and kitchenware that was popular at that period of time.  From this we can see the design trend at that time was towards the more elegant forms rather than random creations. And the home decorations material  preference was towards silver material , which was a popular choice at that time as a symbolism for rich people's taste.
